Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has released an official notification for the Assam College Admission 2024 Online Registration for the academic session 2024-25
across State Universities/Autonomous Colleges / Govt/ Provincialized/ PDUAM/ Govt. Model/ Private Colleges will be provisioned through the Assam Higher Education Admission Portal SAMARTH.

“Samarth” is an endeavour initiated by the Ministry of Education in 2019 as part of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT-II, now NMEICT-III). Its objective is to empower universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) by offering a digital infrastructure for efficient planning, management, delivery, and monitoring of services for students, staff, and stakeholders. This initiative entails providing HEIs with a fully managed, cloud-based, comprehensive ERP system tailored specifically for the country’s higher education sector.

About SAMARTH Portal for Assam College Admission 2024

Directorate of Higher Education Assam has launched a common admission portal named SAMARTH Admission Portal. Where students can Submit a maximum of 10 College of Assam admission forms through a single website. Now students do not go to college by college visits to submit admission forms. This can save students money and time.

The Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal – 2024 is being introduced for Assam College admission 2024 into all UG Programmes in Assam State Universities for academic session 2024-24 under the Department of Higher Education Assam. The Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the state, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connections with the Universities. A single portal will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to Assam State Universities.
