Eligibility Criteria for PWD Department Assam Recruitment 2024

Before Applying for the Junior Engineer post Candidates must fulfil some eligibility criteria like Educational Qualifications, Age Limit and Candidates need Some eligible documents.

Educational Qualification:

• The Candidate Must have a three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any Technical Institute recognized by the Government.
• The Diploma Must be a Regular Course. Diploma Courses Obtained Through Distance Mode of Education, By whatever name Called, will not be accepted.

Local Language Proficiency: Apart from English, the Candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least one official language of the state of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/Bodo) except the candidate belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC/MOBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years

Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizens of India.

Employment Exchange: The candidates must have a Valid Employment Exchange Certificate.

Small Family Norms: Candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form- A at the time of applying for the post.
